With inspiration from the softness of a jellyfish, the hard shell of satellite and the warmth of the Sun, I've designed this nightlamp with the intention of it being an interesting object in the home. The intriguing design lets the lamp fit in most environments, the hall, living room, bedroom or a kids room.
It has a soft-looking inside wrapped in aluminium that becomes an interesting meeting of contrasts. The aluminium makes it possible to turn the lamp on and off as well as adjusting the brightness, simply by the touch of a finger.
The name derives from a corruption of the Danish word 'Sonde', another word for 'satellite', which used to describe an object of exploring.
