I made this project with NASA, during a study trip to Houston, Texas.
The goal of this project was to come up with new concepts for a potential colonization of Mars. My concept is a take on how we might start and set up an automated agricultural greenhouse, before the Astronauts arrives to Mars, so they will have a food and soil to improve habitation quality.
This was a great and interesting experience for me, as I have never worked with a project with such tough restrictions, since in this scenario it is quite literally a question of life and death.
The name "Demeter", derives from the Greek godess of the same name, the godess of life, crops and growth.
